An interdisciplinarian since kindergarden he studied Physics and Philosophy at Boston University while pursuing his photographic art practice using a lovely little Nikon FM2 that his father gave him as a gift. Initially inspired by “technology” artists such as Eadweard Muybridge, Alfred Stieglitz, Chuck Close, and United Visual Artists; Enki began working as a photographer in 2000 then in the 2010 started exploring video, time based photographic progressions and interactive media arts. His art work has been exhibited at New York Figment, Nuit Blanche New York (NBNY) and showcased in collaborative interactive works with Chris Jordan for the Flint Public Art Project (FPAP) and at Monitor Digital Festival in Guadalajara Mexico. Currently he is enjoying a year long art project in collaboration with Nejla Yatkin, called Dancing Around the World (DAW). DAW starts in Chicago in 2015 and ends in Washington DC in 2016 : see Work in Progress.
